How to configure DNS Server in windows 2012

Configuring DNS SERVER

Then you can access DNS server using server manager > tools > DNS




1. Set  Forward lookup Zone:
    Right click on Forward lookup Zones  (Name to IP)--> New Zone
            o    Primary Zone---> give zone Name
----------------------------------------------------------
            o    Create a new File with this name
----------------------------------------------------------
            o    Allow Both Secure and Non Secure----
---> next --->  Finish

2. Set  Reverse lookup Zone:
    Right click on Reverse lookup Zones  (IP to Name)--> New Zone
              IPV4 ---> Give Network Id(eg : 192.168.1.)  -->
       
 
 Reverse lookup Zone
 |---(1.168.192) -->right click-->Pointer(Client)
                              Host IP----:                  .30
                              Host Name : dc.ABC.com (Domain name)
