How to Create Applications in Sccm

NOTE :  Download a Pre-packaged .msi of file and Save the application in Share Folder


1) In Configuration Manager Console , click Software Library workspace , expand Application Management folder , you can see Applications and Packages nodes :


 2) Right-click Applications node , select Create Application :



3) Create Application Wizard will opened :


4) Now I will to deploy Office 2010 Professional Plus x64 software , but they maybe have more type , like EXE , MSI or App-V . In here , I will first deploy MSI type. In Type field , confirm selected Windows Installer (Native) item , click Browse… to specified Office 2010 installation folder path :


5) Click Next , will into Import Information page :


6) Click Next , into General Information page :


7) In this page , you can type some information , in Install behavior , you need to select Install for user :


8) Click Next , will into Summary page :


 9) Click Next , will into Progress page :


10) Wait some seconds , will display Completion page :



11) Click Close will back to Applications node , you can see just created application , in Summary page , you can see this application some information:
